South Windsor police are searching for a man who robbed a local 7-Eleven Saturday night.
The robbery entered the store at 700 Ellington Road around 8 p.m., left without buying anything. When he returned a few minutes later, he went to the counter like he was going to make a purchase, then told the clerk he had a gun and asked for money.
No weapon was actually shown during the robbery.
The robber left and got into a red Subaru style vehicle.
He was described as around 6-feet tall, had a mustache and was wearing dark gray coat and an Army-style camoflague hat.
