State police are looking for the man who robbed Webster Bank at 637 Main St. in Somers just before 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 25.

A man in his early 20s, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, white and blue bandana covering his face, sunglasses, blue jeans and black gloves with white stripes ran into the bank and jumped over the counter to the teller stations demanding money, police said.

Then, he jumped back over the counter and ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said, and fled in a dark sedan.

No one was injured during the robbery and no weapon was shown or implied.

The Connecticut Bankers Reward Association is offering a $2,000 reward for the arrest of the robber.

State Police ask anyone with information regarding the robbery to call Troop C at 860 896 3200.  All calls will be kept confidential
