A boat exploded around 11 p.m. Saturday night.

State Police Investigating Explosion in Middlefield

State Police are investigating an explosion of a boat that happened late Saturday night in Middlefield.
 
Police say the boat, which was on the premise of F. Monarca Masonry Enterprises, exploded around 11 p.m. The boat was reportedly worth $135,000

 
Police received reports from people in Middletown, Middlefield and Durham who all heard the explosion.
 
The state fire marshal and state police were still on the scene investigating on Sunday morning.
