A man found dead in a home on Oak Street in Glastonbury has been identified as Russell Burtchell, 52
Police found Burtchell's body on Saturday after someone asked them to do a welfare check and said there does not appear to be a criminal aspect to the case.
Glastonbury Police Capt. Dennis Woessner said the conditions police found him in were suspicous, so they called in the Connecticut State Police Eastern District Major Crimes squad to assist with the investigation,
