State Police Make Home Invasion Arrest

State police have made an arrest in a home invasion in Ledyard last year.

Troopers from the resident troopers office in Ledyard responded to 13 Marla Drive at 9:15 a.m. on Oct. 14, 2011 for a reported home invasion and were told that three men with handguns entered the occupied residence and stole cash and jewelry from the victims.

No injuries were reported.

State police have identified Dawayne Sebastian, of Norwich, as a suspect and submitted an arrest warrant application charging him with two counts of home invasion, two counts of first-degree burglary, two counts of criminal use of firearm and two counts of criminal attempt robbery in the first degree.

Police located Sebastian at a residence at 60 Coachman Pike in Ledyard around 9:30 a.m. on Friday and took him into custody

He was held in lieu of $150,000 court-set bond.
