Since Monday morning, state police have responded to more than 300 crashes and issued more than 1,000 speeding tickets.
As of 9 a.m. on Wednesday, state police had responded to 201 crashes, 29 of which resulted in injuries, made 21 driving under the influence arrests, issued 506 speeding tickets and 60 tickets for seat belt violations.
By 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, state police had responded to 323 crashes, 41 of which resulted in injuries. They made 45 DUI arrests, issued 1,059 tickets for speeding and 152 for seat-belt violations.
Police also issued 2,096 tickets for other hazardous moving violations tickets.
In 2011, police responded to 310 crashes, made 77 DUI arrests and issued 2,005 speeding tickets.
