State police are searching for suspects who broke into the Prospect VFW overnight Saturday.
State police said sometime after 2 a.m. Saturday thieves stole a “significant” amount of money from the Prospect VFW at 218 Cheshire Road. The building was also damaged during the incident.
According to police, the suspect or suspects may have fled in a pickup truck. No other details are available.
