State Police Troop C Evacuated Due to Smoke in Building

State Police Troop C in Tolland was evacuated Monday evening due to smoke in the building, according to Litchfield County Dispatch.

All calls have been rerouted to Troop L in Litchfield. Dispatchers said there is no fire, just smoke. The initial report came in just after 7:30 p.m.

It's not clear what caused the smoke to accumulate.

Troop C had returned to the building as of about 9 p.m.

No additional information was immediately available.
