Police are looking for the man who approached a 13-year-girl at a bus stop in New London this morning and offered her money to go with him, according to police.
The girl was waiting at the bus stop at Montauk Avenue and Mitchell Court at 6:40 a.m. when the man approached her, according to a news release from police.
Police said the man is in his 40s or 50s, is around 5-feet-2 with a medium build and has a heavy accent.
He was wearing a dark baseball cap, dark gray polo-style shirt and blue jeans.
He appeared to be intoxicated when he approached the girl, according to police, and no vehicle was seen.
