Man gets life in prison without parole.

A 35-year-old New Haven man was sentenced to life in prison for shooting and killing two men in a strip club parking lot.

Prosecutors say Markease Hill shot Ensley Myrick, 27, of East Haven and Joseph Reed, 25, of North Branford during an argument outside the Catwalk strip club in June 2008.

Families and friends of the victims broke into applause on Thursday when Hill was sentenced in New Haven Superior Court.

Hill was convicted of two counts each of murder and capital felony charges in a jury trial in March.

Hill declined to make any statement before he was sentenced Thursday to life in prison without the possibility of parole
