Suffield police are investigating a break-in at a local convenience store.
Police said a suspect broke the front glass door entrance to Fas Mart on 801 Thompsonville Road around 12:34 a.m. Friday, setting off the burglar alarm. The suspect made off with a large quantity of Newport cigarettes, police said.
The suspect is described as a male with facial hair, a slender build, around 6 feet tall. Police believe the suspect fled in a sedan heading north on East Street.
