Suspicious Package Leads to Tweed Evacuation

Tweed Airport is now clear after being closed on Friday afternoon when a suspicious item was found.

The suspicious item appears to be a home safe, Airport Manager Lori Hoffman.  It was found just outside the front door of the airport's terminal, she said.

Two buildings were been evacuated and the airport was closed as bomb experts were brought in to help with the investigation.

A U.S. Airways flight that was scheduled to depart was delayed.
