A former math teacher from East Hartford High School has been charged with two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault.
Jessica Motulski, 28, is accused of inappropriate sexual contact with an 18-year-old female student.
When the allegations came to light, Motulski was placed on paid administrative, according to East Hartford Superintendent Mark Zito.
She resigned, effective June, 5 amid an investigation.
The alleged incident did not happen at school but rather in Glastonbury, according to East Hartford Police. Motulski lives in Glastonbury.
Motulski was arrested on July 26, released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Aug. 15.
