Teen Charged in 2011 Fatal Hit and Run

New Haven Police have charged a juvenile in connection with a crash on January 15, 2011 that killed a 14-year-old boy.
Kysant Moore Jr., 14, was riding his bike on Front Street near Grand Avenue just after midnight when he was struck and killed.
Witnesses said the juvenile responsible for Moore's death was driving a stolen minivan when he intentionally opened the driver’s door and struck Moore, killing him.
The juvenile’s name is being withheld due to his age.
He is currently being held in a detention facility on unrelated charges.
