Teen Gang Members Assault Correctional Officer: Cops

Two teens have been arrested, accused of attacking a correctional officer at a youth detention center in Cheshire and hurting two others.

Jordan Anderson and Reginald Lemount Holley, both 18-year-old Middletown residents, are members of a street gang and attacked the officer, police said. Two other correctional officers tried to help and were injured in the process.

All three officers required medical attention at a local hospital.

Anderson and Lemount Holley have been charged with assaulting a police officer, disorderly conduct, first-degree assault, second-degree assault and assault on a Department of Correction employee. They will be arranged in court on Wednesday.
