Hamden Police are investigating after a teenage girl reported being sexually assaulted by a man she met on a social networking website.
Around 1 a.m. on Saturday, police were called to a home on Mountain Road after the residents called to say that a young girl was banging on their door, screaming for help.

A short time after, Hamden police found Arpi sleeping inside his car.
He was arrested and charged with sexual assault in the first degree, unlawful restraint in the first degree, risk of injury to a minor, strangulation in the third degree and interfering with an emergency call.
