This Little Piggy Finally Made it Home

Specky the pig has returned to his rightful home.

The bronze sculpture of the pig now sits at the Bricco Trattoria in Glastonbury, but that wasn't the case in recent days.

On August 13th, employees noticed someone had stolen the swine statue from its perch at the hostess desk.  It prompted owner Billy Grant to put out an S.O.S. for the beloved pig - return it with no questions asked and dinner for four as a reward.

Someone has returned Specky, and it appears he had quite the summer vacation from work.  A package with a Vermont postmark carried the pig home that included a note entitled "Specky's Great Adventure."  Specky also showed up with several pictures in tow of him grazing on an Vermont farm and relaxing in a hammock on the beach.

The prized porker has once again assumed his post at the hostess desk, only this time with surveillance cameras trained on him to make sure no swine swipes him again.  There is still no word on the identity of the pig pilferers.
