Two farm employees were injured when a bull attacked them in Ellington Saturday.

The workers at Stew Leonard’s farm were trying to get a calf out of a pen, when a bull became angry and attacked the men, according to the Ellington Fire Department.

The bull pinned one man to the ground and bit the other in the head.  There’s no word on how serious their injuries are, but they’re not believed to be life threatening.

The Ellington Fire Deparment doesn't remember anything like this happening in more than 20 years.
