Threatening Arrest at Ledyard High School

Police have charged a teen accused of threats at Ledyard High School.

Ledyard police have arrested an 18-year-old Ledyard teen accused of threatening to do harm to himself and other students at Ledyard High School.

Ledyard High School administrators contacted police at 1:09 p.m. on Tuesday to report that a student was threatening to do harm to students and himself.

Police have charged Ryan Donaldson, of Ledyard, with threatening and breach of peace, according to a news release from Ledyard police.

He was held on a $500 bond and will appear in court in New London on Sept. 26.
