Three people were stabbed early Saturday morning in what Hartford Police are calling a domestic dispute.
Police said when they arrived at 106 Sherbrooke Avenue at 2:08 a.m. Saturday, they found two people with stab wounds. A third victim was later located.
According to police, Fred Colby, 26, got into an argument with one of the victims. He then pulled out a curved knife and began to stab her. She suffered from multiple stab wounds to the chest.
The two other victims suffered from multiple stab wounds including one to the thigh.
They were stabbed as they tried to help the first victim. All the victims were transported to the hospital. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Colby fled the scene and was later found covered in blood on Webster St.
He is charged with criminal attempt to commit murder, three counts of first degree assault, violation of a protective order and disorderly conduct. He is being held on $1 million bond.
