    Three teens in Norwalk face sex charges in what police call a "major crime."

    Three teenagers in Norwalk are facing sex charges in what police are calling a major crime against a 15-year-old girl.

    On Tuesday, a 15-year-old girl told nurses at Norwalk Hospital that she had been sexually assaulted at a house party, the Stamford Advocate reports.

    The girl was admitted because she was highly intoxicated, reports the paper. The hospital reported the assault to police.

    The teens are 14, 16 and 17 years old and face charges of conspiracy to commit first-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor, .

    A judge set bond for the 17 year old. The 14 and 16 year olds are being held at the Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center.

    All three will likely have their cases transferred to the Part A docket at state Superior Court, where the most severe cases in the area are prosecuted, the Advocate reports.
