Torrington High School Forfeits Football Game Following ‘Unsportsmanlike' Incident

The Torrington High School football team forfeited their Friday night game following an "unsportsmanlike" incident among players.

Torrington was scheduled to play against St. Paul Catholic High School in Bristol at 7 p.m.

There are no details on what happened or when it occurred at this time.

"We are hoping this action will give the team an opportunity to reflect upon their behavior and display their excellent leadership skills in the future," Superintendent Susan Lubomski said in a statement.
