There is a gas spill on Interstate 91 north in Middletown after a tractor-trailer ruptured its fuel tank on Tuesday morning.
Firefighters said the truck hit debris on the highway prior to exit 20 and ruptured its gas tank around 6 a.m.
The truck has spilled approximately 70 to 80 gallons of fuel, according to state police.
Officials are waiting to determine if the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection needs to respond.
No injuries have been reported.
