I-395 Reopens in Putnam

Interstate 395 in Putnam was shut down in both directions due to a vehicle fire Wednesday afternoon.

According to state police, a flatbed truck towing a van caught fire near Exit 94 in the northbound lanes of I-395 around 3:30 p.m. Both sides of the highway were shut down, police said.

Some lanes of the highway reopened around 4;30 p.m.
