Route 4 in Farmington was closed for several hours Thursday due to a truck fire and wires down.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. on Route 4 by the exit and entrance ramp to I-84.

A crew was trimming trees around the power lines when a branch came down, hitting the wires and catching fire.  The branch then set the truck on fire.

No one was hurt.

The road connector to I-84 was also closed, but reopened Thursday afternoon.  Part of Route 4 remained closed as crews worked to repair the downed lines.
