Hartford Police are looking for two suspects involved in an early morning street robbery and firearm assault.

Police responded to a report of gun shots near 24 Edgewood St. around 4:54 a.m. Sunday. They located one victim at the scene and the second was taken in a private vehicle to St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center.

The victims said they were walking to their car when two unidentified men approached them. One of the men displayed a silver handgun and demanded property from both victims. Police said both suspects are men,  approximately 25 to 30 years old. One of the men was about 5-foot-7. One was wearing a gray sweatshirt and the other in dark clothing.
