Bolton Man Killed in Route 66 Hebron Crash

A 22-year-old Bolton man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Route 66 in Hebron on Tuesday morning.

Police have identified him as Christopher Passera.

State police said Passera and another driver were driving toward the intersection of Wall and Main streets just after 4:30 a.m. when the vehicles collided.

The other driver refused medical treatment and Passera was taken to Middlesex Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to state police.

The passenger in Passera's car was also injured and taken to Windham Hospital. Her injuries are not life-threatening, according to police.

The road was closed for several hours between Gilead Street, or Route 85 and Wall Street, which is Route 316, but it has since reopened.

A state police accident reconstruction team is investigating.
