Two men were hospitalized after gunshots were fired during a disturbance at a Milford parking garage early Sunday morning.
Milford police responded at about 1:32 a.m. to a parking garage located at 1 New Haven Avenue after receiving a complaint about a disturbance there.
Police determined in a preliminary investigation that there was a disturbance involving a group of people in the garage and that firearms were discharged during the incident. A man was seriously injured and another sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Both men were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Police have not released their identities or said whether any charges have been filed.
Police seized two firearms at the crime site and continue to investigate the cause and circumstances of the incident.
