Police are searching for the people who robbed a man and a woman at gunpoint in Bristol around 10 p.m. Friday night.

According to police, the victims were sitting in their car parked at Page Park near Woodland Street when two men armed with handguns approached. One suspect shined a flashlight into the passenger’s side window and the suspects opened both car doors, police said.

The second suspect demanded the victims’ keys, wallets and cellphones, which the victims handed over. Neither victim was injured during the incident, according to police.

Police said the suspects fled on foot toward Woodland Street. The victims got a ride to the McDonald’s on Farmington Avenue and called police.

One suspect was about 6’0” tall with a heavy build, police said. The other was described as being slightly smaller.

Bristol police officers, detectives and a K-9 unit responded to the scene. Authorities are investigating to identify the suspects.

Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to contact Bristol police at 860-584-3011.
