Two Shootings Early Saturday in Hartford

Hartford Police are investigating two shootings that occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Police responded to the first incident around 1 a.m. after they received a report of shots fired on Bedford St.

Upon arrival, they found the victim between apartment buildings at 133 and 135 Bedford St. The victim was suffering from two gunshot wounds to the leg and was transported to an area hospital.

Police located a vehicle nearby with multiple gunshot holes.

At 1:23 a.m., police arrived at 118 Enfield St. and were told a victim had been transported to a local hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds to the chest and hand.

Numerous shell casings were found at the scene.

The Major Crime Scene team is investigating both incidents.
