Two Stabbed, One Arrest Made in Groton

Groton Town Police nabbed a suspect in a double stabbing Sunday.

One person was arrested and two people were taken to the hospital after a double stabbing in Groton over the weekend.

Groton Town Police said they were called to 240B Crystal Lake Road around 1:15 a.m. Sunday, for a report of a stabbing.

When they arrived, they found a man lying in a pool of blood outside the front door of the residence.

A female victim was located at the scene with a severe stab wound to her arm. Both victims were taken to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Police arrested Timothy G. Clark, 27, of East Lyme. He was charged with two counts of first-degree assault and is being held on $100,000 bond. He is due in court Monday.
