Clinton's high school will have to change the design of its mascot, thanks to UConn.

The Marketing and Licensing Department at UConn issued a cease and desist order against The Morgan School to halt any future production of the school's Husky mascot image, according to the Clinton Patch.

"We are not changing the mascot from a Husky to something else," Morgan School principal Keri Hagness told the Patch. "But we must make changes to our current design."

The school has used the Husky mascot for nearly six decades. It was not clear how long the school had to make the changes.

According to the Patch, a senior at Morgan has been tasked with coming up with a new mascot design.
