UConn Running Back Arrested

Lyle McCombs has been arrested for the second time in as many years.

UConn running back Lyle McCombs is in trouble again.

The red shirt sophomore was arrested on Friday and charged with second degree breach of peace. According to campus police, McCombs was yelling and had spit on and pushed his girlfriend while outside a residence hall.

He is due in court on November 27.

McCombs was suspended from the team in January 2011 after he was arrested by campus police and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after finding him in a dormitory with less than 4 ounces of marijuana.

UConn is set to take on Rutgers today at noon. McCombs is expected to dress but sit out the first quarter.
