UConn Women’s Fan Wanted in Bank Robbery

Old Saybrook police are looking for a UConn women’s basketball fan who robbed a bank a Webster Bank on Thursday afternoon.

The robber, wearing a Giants baseball hat and a UConn “78” shirt – the T issued in 2010 proclaiming UConn’s sheer dominance of 78 straight wins.

The man never showed a weapon and left the bank with an unknown amount of money, police said.

Police have released several photos of the man.
