93 Slashed Tires Delay School in New Milford

It appears that tires were slashed.

Public schools students in New Milford have a two-hour delay after almost 100 tires were slashed.

Bus drivers discovered 93 tires slashed when they arrived at the bus yard on Monday morning, police said. Each tire costs $270 to $300. so damage amounts to $25,110 to  $27,900.

Buses are being brought in from six other districts to transport children.

There will also be no preschool or morning kindergarten, Paddyfote said.

New Milford police did not have any information on the incident.
