Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Vernon convenience store.
The incident happened at On the Way Convenience Store at 352 Hartford Turnpike in Post Road Plaza, Vernon police tweeted just after 9:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The robber had a knife and fled the scene on foot, according to police.

Police described the suspect as 6-foot-tall man in his 30s wearing black clothing.
