At the Veterans' Home in Rocky Hill, every day is Veterans Day but this fall, windows will be installed in the chapel at the home - windows that could help veterans there feel more cared for.

SGO Designer Glass in Simsbury has windows in the works that are made of tempered glass that looks like stained glass but meets state safety codes, Elizabeth Gardner, owner of the SGO franchise, said.

Donors, including the Connecticut Daughters of the American Revolution, have chosen designs for the windows.

Twelve windows are spoken for, leaving 13 more. Anyone interested in donating a window can contact the Veteran's Home.
