Wallingford Man Charged With Child Porn Possession

Rhode State Police have arrested a Wallingford man accused of possession of child pornography.

The Computer Crimes Unit arrested Suneet Talpade, 51, on Monday, according to a news release from state police.

Talpade is the vice president of finance for Twin Rivers, a casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island.  He has been suspended without pay, effective on Monday, Dec. 3, pending the outcome of the police investigation, officials from the casino said.

Talpade was arraigned at the Lincoln Woods Barracks of the Rhode Island state police, signed a waiver of extradition and was released on $10,000 personal recognizance.

He has been ordered no contact with children and restricted Internet use, except for activity related to work.
