Broadview Middle School and the Henry Abbott Technical School are closed today because of a water main break on Tamarack Avenue in Danbury.
The water main break happened around 4 p.m. on Monday.
Tamarack Avenue is closed between Hayestown Road and Danbury Hospital. Locust Street is also closed near the hospital.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area until the water main is repaired.
