Fire Service Line Break Repaired in Windsor

Rainbow Road  in Windsor at Hamilton Road  was closed for hours as crews worked to repair a fire service line break, according to police and MDC.

Both east and westbound lanes were closed. Hamilton Road remained open, police said.

A spokesperson for MDC said that the break was located near the intersection of Rainbow and Stevens Mill roads.

The break only affected service to one abandoned property on Stevens Mill Road.

The repairs were completed just before 9 p.m. MDC said.

The line was installed in the 1960s.
