A 12 inch water main break has shut down Capitol Avenue in Hartford.
The road is shut down between Part Terrace and Laurel Street, according to Hartford Deputy Police Chief Brian Foley.
The main is shut down for repairs but no customers are affected by it.
MDC said repairs should take 4-6 hours followed by road restoration.
Capitol Avenue has since reopned.
