A water main break at Oakwood Avenue and Gillette Street in West Hartford caused problems on Monday.
Crews from the Metropolitan District Commission worked throughout the day to repair the break.
Some homes were without water for a good part of the day, but water service was returned to customers in the area around 4:45 p.m.
