New Britain residents have been dealing with a water main break along Corbin Avenue since Friday, including a road closure and water problems that came along with it.
Residents of about 20 homes had no water over the weekend, but it has since been restored to all residents.
The 100-year-old water main broke on Friday.
When the New Britain water department tried shutting off the valves, those broke too and crews spent all weekend trying to fix the main.
This morning, part of Corbin Avenue remains closed as crews continue to fix damage to the road and repair valves.
Some residents said this break should never have happened.
“They should have taken care of it at this point. I guess it was a pretty old water main, so they should have done this before this happened,” William Dantzler, of New Britain, said.
