Waterbury police are investigating the first homicide of the year in the city.
Luis Guncay was shot once outside his Wood Street home around 10 p.m. on Tuesday and died on Wednesday afternoon, according to officials.
Guncay’s family members and friends are waiting for answers about his murder and investigators are trying to identify the person who fired the gunshot.
