Pomfret and Middletown are affected.

There is a two-hour delay and no morning kindergarten at Pomfret Community School on Wednesday morning and Woodrow Wilson Middle School in Middletown is closed for the day.

School officials in Pomfret said there is a two-hour delay because of icy conditions on the roads after some rain overnight.

The temperatures are just low enough to cause a few slick spots.

Woodrow Wilson Middle School is closed because of a transformer problem that caused a power outage.
