West Hartford Police scoured the town center with K-9 units in tow today searching for the suspect they say flashed a folding knife on a woman a parking lot.

The suspect was leaving Whole Foods Market, 50 Raymond Rd., when a man in his 40s approached her to ask questions about the area.
When the victim tried to close her car door, the man held the door open and waved a knife at her. She began to scream causing the suspect to flee, police said.
The victim told police the suspect never demanded any money or goods from her.
Police were unable to track him down after the crime.
