Four people were injured after an accident on the Wilbur Cross Parkway north in Milford.
The accident happened on Route 15 northbound near exit 55A for an accident that resulted in minor and serious injuries, troopers said.
A Chevy Express traveling in the northbound lane struck the rear of two cars, and the side of one of the cars, according to the accident report.
The drivers and passengers of the cars struck sustained minor injuries, while the 27-year-old driver of the Chevy had major injuries. All four victims were transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Troopers said the northbound side of the parkway was closed for four hours. The Department of Transportation was diverting traffic off exit 54.
