A large, violent fight outside of a nightclub in New London early Saturday morning left four people seriously injured according to police.
Police received numerous 911 calls to report a stabbing in the area of 111 Bank St. around 3:30 Saturday morning.
Upon arrival on the scene, police located a 27-year-old male suffering from a large life threatening wound to the abdomen.
While investigating, police were informed that several other injured parties had arrived at the emergency room of Lawrence &Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Police learned that the incident had occurred at 130 Bank St., which is where the clubhouse for the Wild Style Motorcycle Club is located.
According to police, a fight broke out inside the clubhouse and spilled out into the parking lot and onto South Water St.
During the incident, a 27 year old New London resident was slashed across the abdomen, a 28 year old Guilford resident was struck about the face and head with a large wooden object, a 31 year old New London resident suffered from a laceration to his ear and neck and a 33 year old New London resident broke his leg while fleeing from the area where the fights was taking place.
The 27 year old victim who suffered life threatening injuries was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital and was still undergoing emergency surgery. Names of the victims are being withheld at this time.
