A Willimantic man was killed in a crash in Chaplin Sunday night.
State police said 47-year-old John Crone was driving east on Route 6 near Cross Street in Chaplin around 10 p.m. According to police, Crone’s car crossed the double yellow line and collided with a vehicle traveling the opposite direction, continued and crashed into another car.
A fourth car was struck by debris from the crash.
Crone was pronounced dead on scene. The occupants of the other vehicles were transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
