There have been more than 10 incidents in the past month where items were stolen from cars.

Wolcott Police Remind Residents to Lock Cars

Wolcott Police are warning residents to keep their cars locked after a string of break-ins in the past month.
 
According to the Republican American, from June 4 to July 19 there have been more than 10 incidents where thieves have entered a parked car and stolen wallets, purses and electronics.

 
Police told the Republican American that in most cases the cars were left unlocked and the valuables were left in plain sight.
 
Police Captain Domenic Angiolillo told the Republican American that the thefts have occurred on  lower Spindle Hill Road, Beach Road, Cliff Street, Church Drive, Chicory Drive, Maple View Drive and Winfield Avenue.
